xgprophet ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit xgprophet.com, how we use it, and your rights under UK data protection law.

What data we collect

We collect anonymous analytics data only. When you visit our site, our analytics provider (PostHog) records:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Referring URL and broad geographic region (country level)
• Device type and browser (aggregated, not fingerprinted)
• Clicks on affiliate CTA links (where the feature is enabled for your region)

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information unless you contact us directly. We do not collect payment card details or financial information.

Cookies

xgprophet uses a small number of cookies to operate the site:

• Analytics cookies (PostHog) — record anonymous session data as described above. These cookies do not track you across other websites.
• Essential cookies — set by our hosting provider (Vercel) for load balancing and security. No personal data is stored.

We do not use advertising cookies, re-targeting cookies, or third-party tracking pixels.

How we use data

Analytics data is used solely to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We use it to measure which predictions pages are most visited, identify broken links, and monitor site performance. We do not use it to build personal profiles or for any form of targeted advertising.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• PostHog — analytics. Data is processed in the EU under GDPR-compliant standard contractual clauses. See posthog.com/privacy.
• Vercel — hosting and CDN. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• API-Football (api-sports.io) — football data provider. No user data is shared with this service.

Affiliate links

When our affiliate CTA feature is enabled (for eligible users in Great Britain, aged 18+), we may link to licensed gambling operators. If you click such a link and register with an operator, we may receive a commission. Clicking an affiliate link does not share any of your data with us beyond the anonymous click event recorded by PostHog.

Data retention

Anonymous analytics data is retained by PostHog for 12 months, after which it is automatically deleted. We do not store any personal data on our own servers.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Because we collect only anonymous analytics data, we are unlikely to hold any data that can be linked to you individually. If you have any concerns, please contact us.
